Apple Phone and Google Phone to take over the market?

Apple and Google are talking about launching cell phones of their own. The article discusses this, and has an interesting quote from Motorola who says they launched their own iTunes equipped cell phone and it wasn't so hot. Then they say "selling cellphones is different from selling MP3 players. The telecom service providers have a lot to say about what gets sold." First, that sounds like a company being scared of a competitor, and second, Apple has kicked around all the music companies pretty well with iTunes. So we shall see if they can do the same to the Telecoms too. If I were LG or Samsung I might take note too. And one final note, any phones from Google and Apple probably wouldn't succeed here because the government would take some kind of action to prevent it, the farmers would gather in protest and burn it (albeit farmers who have sons or daughters that work at SS and LG), and the public in general would not buy a non-Korean product.
